I have three lumps in my neck. I have had them for about 5 months. I have been to the GP repeatedly and been told they are likely due to other things. I have an autoimmune disease (psoriatic arthritis) and also scalp psoriasis and two GPs have thought it was this. Another GP thought they were just fatty lumps. They are each about 1-2cm and move around when touched. I just cannot understand why they have not come up before when I’ve had my initial autoimmune disease for over 10 years.
I spoke to my Rheumatologist about them and she said she didn’t think they were common with my autoimmune disease and has referred me to ENT for further investigation.
My appointment is not until November 22nd and I am majorly catastrophising trying to keep calm in the interim. I know they could be something else but it’s hard not to think the worst. I am 28 and mum to an amazing 3 year old. This is not a battle I feel ready for at the moment. It’s been a tough year for our family so far, we lost my grandfather suddenly and my mother in law is currently going through chemo for oesophageal cancer
Would love to hear some of your experiences. I do not really have any other symptoms, I am tired but do put that down to motherhood and a busy job. I am also itchy but not excessively and put that down to my psoriasis (I hope!).
Thank you so much!
