Hi all!
I'm a 27 year old mummy of 3 with a history of abnormal smears since about 17 years old. When I was 18 I had a colposcopy due to abnormal cells. Smears then normalised. Back in 2017 borderline changes where detected but no action needed. Gave birth to my 3rd beautiful baby boy in April 2019. After everything went back to normal I started noticing symptoms that concerned me. Pain during intercourse, bleeding afterwards, excessive bloating, sever lower back, pelvic and leg pain, frequent need to urinate and excessive sweating. Went to GP, she suggested a smear test be performed. August 15th smear test complete. 21st of September nurse received note from the lab saying they threw out the sample as I wasn't due till 2020 despite having a history of abnormal smears and symptoms. GP requested another one be done, 30th of September it was again completed. Nurse rang this morning to say again despite my history plus my symptoms they have indeed again thrown this out! HOW CAN THEY DO THIS TO WOMEN? I have a gyne appointment for the 26th of October where I'm hoping I can finally get some answers but just wondered if anyone else has had this?
Thanks guys xox
