Hi I recently been seen by doctor for flat mole on my stomach she has referred me to the hospital and said get an appointment next two weeks. Do you think anything to worry about
I know it's hard to accept when you are worried but try & go with an open mind. Your GP has followed the NICE guidelines for a dermatologist to check your mole but out of every 10 that are referred only between 2 & 3 patients are actually diagnosed with skin cancer so the odds are in your favour that it will be fine. Thanks Angie I have my appointment for a week on Monday. It’s been there for little while but if am honest O thought be ok now am bit unsure its oval shape with little black in middle
thanks for you reply you should definitely get a appointment straight away. Mine is flat with little black spot in middle it’s tiny. I went last Tuesday and got referred to the hospital the same day I’m seeing specialist next Monday. I don’t think there is anything to worry about but you never know. Google is terrible all it says is cance. Let me know how you get on. It’s so scary. I used sunbeds in the past but haven’t used them for years. I hope it’s all going be ok
Indeed the internet is worse I've had mine a few years but I'm unsure if it's changed or not. So I'm getting it checked as it's not like my other moles. The other mole I have I know has changed as it peeled off which is really scary however I've never used sun beds and I've never been burnt in the area it's hopefully less likely to be something bad
