Hard Lump in Breast

Hey

So i am 25 and a few weeks ago i found a hard lump in my left breast close to the nipple. The lump is hard to touch and about the size of 10p coin, maybe slightly bigger, it does not move. I went to the doctors about 10 days ago now and had an examination, she felt both breasts, my right was fine but as soon as she touched my left she could feel the lump. She then went on to ask if anyone in my family had ever had cancer, no they havent. Anyway she reffered me to the breast clinic to check what the lump was, i dont think she wanted to scare me so said 'they'll just check if its a cyst'.

I have my appointment tomorrow at the breast care clinic at a non suspected cancer clinic - Routine Under 40 - I guess because i am so young its not as common? I had a breast abscess over 5 years ago and it cleared up with IV Antibiotcs and a short stay in hospital, i am hoping it could just be scar tissue or another abscess? but unlike last time my breast is not hurting, red or any of the past symtoms.

I know the likely hood it is just a cyst but its a rather scary process.

Hoping for the best!
