Referral for tongue biopsy

Hi everyone

Posted a few weeks ago talking about my referral to ent due to a lump on neck.

I went to my first ent appointment today and have been referred for ultrasound scan on neck and an operation to do tongue biopsy.

has anyone had any similar tests and if so could you please let me know what they’re like mainly the biopsy. This is the one worried about.

Hi Jaqui,
I think there have been quite a few posts on the forum recently about tongue biopsys so do feel free to join in on any you find when using the 'search forum' in the blue bar above but hopefully some of our members will share their experiences of these tests with you here as well.
Our cancer nurses may be able to give you some insight as well so if you'd like to talk this through with them do be sure to give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.
