hey I had my smear test end of August, we are now at the end of September and still no results. I was advised by the nurse if my results hadn’t come through after 2 weeks to call the surgery. I’ve been phoning each week and still no results. The surgery have said they don’t have a contact number to chase up results and I can’t have another one. They said there may be a contact number on my letter advising the smear test but there isn’t. How long are you supposed to wait? It’s really worrying. If there is a delay in the results being sent back then the nurses should be advising correctly and realistically. It’s very frustrating.
