Fluid filled cyst

Hi

I thought I had been putting on weight but when I went to my docs turned out I have an ovarian cyst. 

She was concerned about the size <10cm and thought it was solid but after a scan it revealed with fluid filled.

Ive still got to go for more tests and had a blood test but have been reading fluid filled cysts are non cancerous so am confused as to why more testing?  Also I’m post menopause which I suppose is more worrying?

any advice appreciated
