So I've had abnormal, bleeding, pain/spotting etc for months now. I had an ultrasound which said my lining is 25mm thick and a 12x10mm focal area? , anyway fast forward numerous hospital visits I'm now on morphine as the pain is horrendous. I went back to hospital last night and they said they think I have cervical ectropion as my cervix is red raw and bleeds on contact. Theyve taken swabs etc. I'm NOT on the pill or anything, I have 2 kids age 5 and 3. My husband and I use condoms only. Previously birth control has made me ill and my periods worse which is why I havnt taken anything in years. I have another gyno appointment soon and another ultrasound end of Oct. Does anyone know what it could be? Or have you experienced this? Could this be cancer? I have a strong family history. Or what else could cause such a hormone imbalance? One doctor mentioned endometrial hyperplasia or endometriosis , another said I'm only 25 so itl be nothing! The pain is so bad I'm on morphine so clearly it's not nothing!
I had to beg just for the refferal! I'm so stressed over it all. Any advice appreciated.
