MRI scan for liver

Hi i had my mri scan wed to see what this lump is what they have found got told to expect the results in 2 months has they is only 2 radiologist available for that type of scan anyways I am needing my gallbladder removed saw the anathestic today and she said if they find something serious they ring me in a week is this correct thank you

    I hope you won't have to wait too long to get these results from your MRI scan. Waiting for results can be such an anxious time and all you can do is try and keep busy and distracted and avoid looking things up online if you can or it will only make you worry more. 2 months is a long time to wait though and I really hope you get some answers before. It's good though that the anaesthetist told you that they would ring you within a week if there was anything that needs looking into urgently. I hope your gallbladder surgery goes well and that you recover swiftly from it. 

    Hopefully you will hear from others here who have been in a similar situation before and I hope they will be along shortly to share their experience with you.

    I had a scan years ago which showed a benign lump on my liver. Its called a hemangioma. I had to get rescanned a month later just to make sure it didnt grow. Doctor told me its nothing to worry about.
