Blood in stools and can feel my left side groin lymph nodes

Hello im new to this site and here for some advice please I'm male and 25 and have recently been seeing blood in my stools on and of for around 2 weeks it's not every stool but like 1 or 2 stools a day I have 3 per day every day since I can remember they are quite loose and I'm just really worried I have bowel cancer or something serious I have been to the doctors and had my bloods done I'm in tomoz for the results at 10.30 he did say when I first seen him around 2 weeks ago he could feel some lymph nodes on the left groin side but not the right does has anyone experienced anything similar I can't sleep or even think propley it's affecting my family life and social life and I'm really scared thankyou for your time dave

    Hi Dave,

    Hopefully you will get the results from the doctors tomorrow and fingers crossed everything is ok, I'm 31 and had blood in my stools and was going about 10 times a day, my bloods came back fine and I was sent for a colonoscopy. Unfortunately I was diag with bowel cance, please do not read Google etc as your mind will go into overdrive. I hope you get positive results tomorrow, please let me know.

    Hello thankyou very much for your reply I was wondering did you have blood in all your stools 10 times a day that seems a lot  I'm just getting ready for docs now I will let you no how I get on when I get back.

    Good luck please keep me updated, yes it was pretty much every time I went, my blood test said I was slight anemic but the soxtoe said that was normal as I was loosing blood. Speak soon x

    Hello I have just got back from doctors he said my full blood count was perfect and I think he said the crp or crb not sure witch 1 them results came back perfect aswell I have to wait for a letter of a gastro person so they can have a look what's going on now the waiting is the part that gets me the most cause I feel I can't plan or move forward with my life till I no what's going on :(

    if you don't mind me asking I'm new to this site wondering if your happy to share any updates since you lady posted on this! I've got an upcoming colonoscopy due and like yourself just worried now as not sure what's going on. I have not only blood but lots of blood clots after each bowel movement and it's all saw n quite painful as I also suffer from a number of fissures/piles etc (been suffering for over 10 years). Is there anything you did to help reduce or bleeding and these clots!!

    Hello Sara 1 I was given a cream to apply inside me for 8 weeks whilst I waited for my colonoscopy they tought I might of had a fissure but they was unsure as I had no pain or discomfort whilst passing stools which they explained most people have discomfort if they have 1 me however had absolutely no pain or discomfort they put it down to maybe It had been there for some time and i didn't realise if you are saw you might also have a fissure I went for my colonoscopy which was all clear nothing to be seen and then I was discharged i hope all goes well for you it's a scary time I was mess your mind really does make it 100 times worse just take it easy David.

    Glad your results was all clear. I have a pre Opp due on 8th. Let's see what the nurse says as the significant amount of bleeding, clots, needing to go to the loo more frequently, fatigue and stomach pain is allll new symptoms to me!! Fingers cross. Thanks for responding
