Hi I've done my fit test and terrified they are gonna come back abnormal. Please could you tell me how long you waited for your results. Hope you are feeling better

Ive only just seen your message; I haven’t been very well so not online. 

hope you’re okay Hun. Have you had anymore of the red BM. It can be caused by so many thing like berries, cherries etc like Kit said but you must ring the GP and just mention it to him see what he advises. But if you have had anymore, go to A/E. The reason only part of your BM was red, could be from the cherries and because it’s been sat in your bowel for a while and then you’ve eaten other food after that’s also sat on top of the cherry dyed poop and when you’ve been to the toilet it’s all come out in one go. Have  you asked your GP if you can have some other tests to see what’s going off like an ultrasound. They may not be the gold standard test, but they may help and don’t harm pregnant ladies? Also get someone to pop to the chemist and get a stool sample bottle and keep it handy and If it happens again, take yourself and the sample straight to A/E.xx

I don’t understand your post. Are you saying you have had the fit test and the results are “16”.

If they are 16, I think that’s a pretty good result.x

How are you. Have you had any updates. Are you feeling any better in yourself.

I ended up having dihoreah for a week and then it turned to blood. Just red watery BM. It just wouldn’t stop. The hospital said they thought it was the polyp or irritable bowel, put me on a drip for low blood pressure, and a drip for pain and then sent me home. They game me a quick rectal examination too :-( and said there were no piles. I was told unless you are bleeding about a cup full of blood there is nothing they can do because they’ve already done the tests that they can do and they were aware of my polyp.

i had thought it was my medication for my green tongue but the dihorhea had been going on long after the medicati9n had stopped.

I've since had BMs that are bloodied through the poop and on the outside of the poop too. I just eat mashed potato now but if I have something else, it seems to irritate again. I had also been trying to gently exercise, and it’s so confusing because I’ve been told to, and then told not to, and then to do so. My heads spinning. 

I still have tummy pain and a yellowy green tongue. I was given medicine and told if it was thrush?? it would go straight away but I’ve finished the medicine and It hasn’t gone. I’m going to contact my dentist. I know my oral/teeth hygiene is tip top as I’m a bit of a clean freak, so I know it’s to do with my health. I’m still waiting for the tube down my mouth (oral endoscopy?)

Hey [@Kadash]‍ how are you doing ? Any news on the polyp? When will they be taking it out? 

I’ve just reached my second trimester and have a phone consultation with the consultant on the 3rd of July let’s see what he says. I think with me the blood is scaring me so much, at times I feel like an absolute mess with all the worrying.
