Feeling so scared

Hello ladies, im feeling very worried and cannot stop crying. I went to the gp a few days ago with pains in my lower back, stomach and legs. Gp did a phsyical exam and said my cervix looked abnormal... she described it as a rash on the cervix? I am now waiting on a colostrophy if thats what its called and a biopsy .. im pretty convinced i have cervical cancer i mean why else would i have these pains and the gp to notice my cervix isnt right by just looking at it. Im 31 and have a one year old daughter.. i really dont want her to grow up without a mammy.. shes my everything and i love her so much i cant imagine not seeing her grow up. Ive never been so scared in my life... i just feel like i know its bad news... i wouldnt feel like this otherwise :( xx

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to read about your worries. It's natural to feel worried when there is this kind of uncertainty - we often tend to think of the worst case scenarios. There are still many options so try not to just think of the worst ones. Once you have further tests and results, you will know more and this will help in giving you some certainty and a path forward.

    Try your best to keep busy and keep your mind off things - keeping as normal as possible - until you know more. And I hope it's not too much longer to wait for you.

    i know this is an old post, but I pretty much I this exact same position now and going out of my mind with worry. I'd be really grafeful if you could offer some feedback as to how you got on? I really hope you got positive news x
