does yours hurt all the time/does it make your arms and your back hurt as well? 

Hi I have prodded this weekend so much it feels heavy and sore and the ache is radiating. I also have folliculitis in my armpits sounds awful I know, had it for 3 months tried all sorts of antibiotics and now antibiotic gel. This is how I’ve been in the area so much more as armpits been so sore! X

Oh no! I’m trying a “hands off” approach. 

What i I have noticed is that when I lean forward to check my boobs the pain seems to be on the bone/chest wall? Which has got me even more worried! I’m also feeling a slight numbness in my left hand which I think is paranoia but tbh I’m really not sure

Hi guys! Try not to worry over something that hasn’t happened yet. Out of all the people that go get checked out most lumps are cysts and something other than cancer!

i worried myself sick. I have been diagnosed with stage one breast cancer and waiting for my operation in 2 weeks. BUT for every person that was in waiting for scans etc most got the all clear.Xx

im trying not to-my period was due today and so my breast hurts a lot less, but just at the front of my armpit both sides are aching now! It’s very worrying/depressing :(

There’s not much you can do until you get some results. The waiting is the hardest part. Even if you can feel a lump it doesn’t necessarily mean cancer. I have 2 lumps and one is benign. My armpits always hurt with hormones too so try not to panic. I’ve been told my lymph nodes are clear on the scans which I was a bit shocked at as my armpit has been quite painful too. 

I was a complete mess waiting to get checked then waiting for results but worrying doesn’t solve anything it just gets you all worked up xxx

I think it’s just annoying me-it’s been 8 months, been aeen by 3 different doctors and all of them have told me to just get on with the pain as they think it’s hormones-which it very well could be! But you’re very right-it’s the waiting which is the worst! 

I have been looking at fibrocystic breasts but I thought my doctors would have picked up on that by now....

mine is next Thursday....oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that, I completely get how scared you are about it! I am too :( the worst is this waiting!! Are you going to get a new appointment? 

my period came today and my breasts have shrunk down to about a third of the size they were and the pain has subsided a lot-although they’re still quite tender at the front of my armpits :( but has given me a slight bit of hope that it may be hormonal...just praying that it is but as a fellow anxious worrier I am worrying myself sick! Cried at work the other day

hi it does sound like its hornonal, how old are you?  I am 45 so more of an age for it to be a worry.  If there is no radiology then i will need to go back for scans.  I was looking last night and i actually have the side of my breast bruised from prodding!!  I want to cry all the time at the moment!
