Worried about symptoms

hi just looking for some advise please

for the past 6 months I've been really ill with collapsing and palpitations I was diagnosed with pots syndrome . I also suffer with my anxiety and I over think things!! I also google my syntoms which I know isn't the best thing to do !!!.... recently over the past week I've had a horrible ache in one of my legs but I have no swelling and I can walk on it fine.I've also got other syntoms like arm pain stabbing chest pain and short of breath but I'm not sure if they are because my anxiety levels are super high ...  I went to the doctors and have my bloods taken and they cane back normal.  I'm really scared incase I have a blood clot ...my doctor said he dosent think so as my bloods was fine? ??

  • Hi ells123,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. It could be a good idea to make a note of any symptoms you feel and to see if and how this changes day-to-day. This will help you to chart any improvements or differences. Then, if you still feel worried and you don't feel like things are improving, you can make another visit to your GP and discuss what you have noted.

I would try to trust what your doctor has said so far, and also try as much as possible to not worry and to not link everything you're feeling, because this can often make things worse. I know this is sometimes easier said than done though.

Also do stay away from Google with this - it is not specific to you and often shows worst case scenarios.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
