hello! I’m molly, I’m 23 and from Essex, I’m currently waiting for my gynaecologist appointment on Monday after my gp done and urgent referral on Wednesday this week.
Ive been having spotting daily since October 2017 and sometimes get huge blood clots but other than that no periods, I have really really bad lower back pain and also when I have sex it is so painful, so much so I’ve not done it for a whole year due to this, also everytime I did I would bleed. I’ve been to the doctors and gynaecologist before for this, but they done and ultrasound and didn’t even check internally themselves if anything was going on and left it.
recently the symptoms have worsened and are quite frankly uncomfortable daily, I went in Wednesday to the gp and she checked my cervix and straight away said I need to be referred as she thinks it looks abnormal and I need some tests done to see if it’s cancer. Straight away I thought nope, no way it can’t be!
within the last 2 days ive been called by 4 different people booking appointments for tests and scans for next week and got a letter today about investigating cancer and what is going to happen.
now I’m absolutely petrified as all I can think is, if it is cancer it’s been there for 2 years if not more and how far it could of spread! I don’t really know what to expect at my appointment on Monday and would love some advice please!
