Isotope bone scan and Prostate cancer

Hi I’m new to this forum and wondering if I could get some advice and reassurance. My 56 year old husband had been having prostate problems and has had an mri, biopsy and now been told he has to wait for a month for an appointment. He phoned to check if that meant he was ok but the nurse said he needed an isotope bone scan in two weeks and that they knew nothing more. Of course we’ve both googled this and are now so scared it’s prostate cancer and had spread to the bones! I’m not sure we can wait a month to hear results - any advice please?
