I believe we have spoke before. This might sound odd but have you been to the dentist? I had ear pain in my left ear on and off for a long time that became worse and constant 5 weeks ago with neck pain I thought nothing about my mouth as the pain was in my ear. I now have a 2 week referral as the dentist found thickening at the back side of my tongue. Sometimes problems that seem to be in the ear are actually in the mouth. If you are unhappy about the referral do go back to the dr and please consider going to the dentist.

I’ve just been back to docs this morning as my appointment is not til 6 weeks. But discovered today that an urgent referral had been made the docs going to look into it. Seems a long time to wait as it’s urgent? 

I feel a bit more at ease now and hopefully have my appointment brought forward.
