Ironically I am a phlebotomist and I'm having a c125 tomorrow done. Now I feel like I'm birthing a whale. Does anyone else have the incredible bloating, pain and heavy feeling?

Hi Andi_B and welcome to the forum.
I hope that your blood test went smoothly and I'm sorry to hear about the problems you're having to cope with at the moment.
As a phlebotomist you may already know but the level of CA125 in your blood can rise for many reasons including endometriosis, menstruation, ovarian cysts, and sometimes ovarian cancer. This is one reason why it cannot accurately be used as a screening test for ovarian cancer.
Hopefully your results won't take too long to return and your GP will be able to arrange the next steps in finding our the cause of your discomfort.
Do let us know how you get on.
Best wishes,
Jenn
