Hi,

I am totally new to this but would like some advice and other people's stories.

I am a 29year old mother of two. Today I had a breast check as i am classed as high risk my mother has the BRAC2 gene and has breast cancer at 28 and ovarian 44 shes fine now though. 

I had my check and the nurse found my left breast to be thickening and a lump in my armpit.ive never noticed either before.. is thickening a sign of cancer or something else. I'm getting a urgent ultrasound soon to see and maybe a biopsy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you
