Hi, could you give the number on your letter a call and ask them what to expect at your appointment? I had a letter to attend gynae after scans revealed something and I was asked a stack of questions and then had an intenal examination and attempted hysteroscopy but that is to look into the womb area whereas it sounds like your polyp is outside that area.  But I would give them a call and at least put your mind at rest. It's awful though - all the waiting and the unknown.  Hope it all works out for you x
