Sat here stressing myself in a big way.

Last few months my periods have been very heavy and on some months my cycle have been shorter than normal.

I just got back from hospital after have an abdominal and vaginal scan to take a look. Dr thought fibroids.

The person who did the scans said no fibroids.

She asked where I was in my cycle and I said smack in the middle. She said no sign of ovulation yet.

No cysts but my left ovary is enlarged. She said my right side is 10cc in volume and my left is 15cc in volume.

That was all that was said. I would hear in a week to 10 days. If my surgery is digitally connected it could be sooner.

So I am now worried sick....

I do have a Dr appointment for something unrelated first thing tomorrow so I shall go panic at the go but seeing as I ended up on this forum, it's pretty obvious what I'm scared it will be.

I'm 39 I've had 4 children, all breast fed. I used the contraceptive pill from age 16-25 with breaks for pregnancy.

My only symptoms behave been very heavy painful periods for the last few months. Gp gave me meds to make them lighter and less painful. Works like a charm!

My cycle was always 28-32 days. I've had a few cycles  this year that have been about 23 days.

Pretty scared.
