Hey Guys, Hope everyone is doing as well as can be!
I know you are not professionals, but just wondering if anyone has any insight into the following.
I had an Xray and it came back with:
Added density projected over right anterior fith rib and small rounded nodule projected over the right anterior sith rib.
Im trying to understand what on earth the added density could be? The doctor didnt really help and seemed to want me off the phone asap.
Ive had a CT scan but apparently that may be a month or so before results come back.
If it helps,
Im 37, Male, quit smoking 15 years ago (about 20 a day)
Reaons i went to the doc was a persistent (not super bad) cough, no blood. and painful ribs (can sometimes feel/rub out the pain) where they mention the density and nodule.
Any thoughts?
Im concerned about the nodule and super worried about the density... What one earth could that be?
Apologies, again, i know you are not qualified, but wondered if anyone had any kind of insight.
Thanks
Graham
