Hi all
I found 3 lymph nodes under my jaw a little while ago (5 weeks). I was referred for an ultrasound which showed one of them was 18mm long, but all were less than 5mm in diameter (short length). All normal in morphology.
Since finding these nodes I have also had a constant fullness below my left ear, on the same side as a large lode. Historically I have suffered from Eustachian tube dysfunction after colds/exercising but never have i felt one side blocked or full like this for such a long time, especially in one ear.
I have no other symptoms and feel otherwise healthy other than the worry.
I recently got a 2nd opinion, and have been sent for another US as the GP wasn't happy with the first set of results (Apparently the write up was too vague?). He didn't seem overly concerned, but my 3 constantly swollen nodes and clogged up ear are definitely causing me worry.
I've tried to think of something else that could be causing this, but no matter how much I research Google points me back to NPC (Curse it!). Hopefully the next US resukts are clear, but anyone got some ammo to put my mind at rest in the mean time?
