Cancer phobia.

hi I'm a66 year old grandma all my life I've lived with every thing I get been cancer,at the moment I've got sore throat can't swallow feel like I'm going to choke  I'm clearing my throat constantly I've got acid refluxe and have been on meds for a few years now,but they have stopped working so I think the soreness is due to the acid .But before I had this I had what I thought was had pancreatic cancer as I googled symptoms and acid is one of them, I've also thought I had bowel cancer had a camera to see but came back clear,it's awful all the time thinking you haven't got long left my husband thinks I'm nuts.But it's stopping me enjoying life I'm going to go to docs to see if he can help me with my constant sore throat fingers crossed it not cancer if it is well I will have to deal with it xx

    Living with constant worry about health is difficult but the good thing is that you've recognised it's becoming an issue and are going to see your doctor.

    I'm not sure if you've heard of health anxiety but if not I'm just going to include some information about for you to have a look at as this may be what you're experiencing.

    Fingers crossed your sore throat isn't anything sinister.
