I’ve just had an ENT appointment about the effect of acid reflux on my throat. While the consult examined my throat with the camera , he found that I’ve got asymmetrical tonsils. I’m having a MRI next week to check my tonsils and chest. I’m now terrified. Everything I’ve found on the internet suggests it’s a sign of cancer. Do other things cause asymmetrical al tonsils? My brother died of oesophageal cancer about two years ago so I assume it’s a risk for me .
