I’m 34 & 4-6 weeks ago I started getting intermittent, lower abdominal pains on both sides. It doesn’t seem to stay fixated on one side. It was worse on the left but seems to be worse on the right now.
I went to my GP about a month ago, she prodded around & said she didn’t think it was anything. She is a junior doctor though.
Any way, it’s weeks & weeks later now & no better. I get constipated quite a lot & sometimes don’t go for 2 or 3 days.
I’ve been inspecting my stools & 2 or 3 bowel empties ago there were a couple of black specks in each stool. I thought nothing of it but today I did one very large stool & there was one drop of blood in the toilet, it was bright red.
I’m going to the docs tomorrow & asked to see somebody else.
Feeling very sad & quite low, my gf of 11 years & my family think I’m being a weirdo as I’ve been complaining of light pain for over a month & even after telling them about seeing a drop of blood they still don’t want to know.
