Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to read about what your dad has been through recently. In these situations it's never really possible to second guess what might happen at an appointment, but it would of course be good to prepare for all scenarios.

Make sure you find out everything you need at the appointment - it can be helpful to write things down so as not to forget things later on.

Whatever happens, there'll be options and support available - including from us on this forum, so do feel free to continue using it as a safe space to write down any worries or concerns you have or to talk anything through.
