Hello , I'm not sure if I can address all your concerns but I can give you some information on my experience of recovery from a Hysterectomy. I had a full abdominal hysterectomy and I am now 6 weeks post OP. The bloating was so uncomfortable after the OP and it did last for 5.5 Weeks after which it just disappeared thank goodness. Re what you can and cant do. I started driving at 4.5 weeks, still not lifting anything heavy or hoovering or swimming until 8 weeks post OP. It took 4 weeks for my results to come back and thankfully I got the all clear. I too found it quite stressful and anxious being off work as I have had no time off work in seven years and have been signed off for 8 weeks. I'm just starting to enjoy my time off as I realise if you dont stress then your body heals quicker. My advice to you would be to make sure you rest plenty , before you know it you'll be back at work and back to the grind. Hope you get the all clear . JH266 xx 

Hi jh266 thank you if you don't mind what was your diagnosis mine was stage 1a ct scan showed nothing and grade 3 that was what I was told before my surgery so most likely I will need more treatment

Hi, I had 2 large tumours and my gynaecologist was unable to confirm if they were benign until removed and biopsied. Thankfully they were benign. Good luck and very best wishes xx

sorry know this old post I’m just looking for advice. I’m 1a grade 3 mix cell, I’m awaiting treatment plan, they hv called me in for ct scan tomorrow to access what plan and to use this scan as a base for all future checks. ( I had last mri in Feb) did u have a ct before treatment plan ?? Antmything I can worry about I got it what treatment did u get, he said I was getting brachytherapy when had appointment so not sure why now having ct scan.
