I'm sorry to hear that you've been dealing with some health problems recently. It sounds as though your GP is being proactive in asking for these tests to be completed. 

How did your appointment go yesterday? I hope that your Dr was able to give you some reassurance.

Hi I don't have any answers but I have an itchy scalp, have done a long time, dermatology said it was ezcema. Bloods all fine, I also have several lymph nodes on the side of my neck come up (towards the back rather than front) and now new ones on the other side. Scan in July said reactive and rescan in 6 weeks which is early September. I'm not sure what they are reacting to as I've not been ill, I've had them since may, that I noticed. If anything they are bigger since the last scan and I'm so worried.

I find thinking about lymphoma makes me feel the glands almost, when I'm not I don't notice them. And I feel itchy if I'm anxious about them. 

My nose is also blocked even though I'm not ill, has been years, mainly at night and go says allergies.

I suffer regular headaches, knee pain, lower back pain, wrist pain, shoulder pain, IBS, anxiety, I can't sleep well. But all these symptoms could be anything. I even thought I might have fibromyalgia.

I dread to think what they are and what's wrong with me.

If your results are borderline, it could mean something's a tad high or low, but it could be something so simple like vitamin d - which can cause joint pain, itching, skin conditions, if too low. Or iron, b12, so many things!

Hopefully it's something minor.

Hi, I’m sorry your having symptoms to,it’s horrible the things our bodies put us through. 

I went to see my doctor she told me that my red blood cells are to large, I have had another blood test just waiting for the results, (the reason it’s taken so long is because I have a massive phobia of needles) I’ve put it off but my doctor told me to be a big girl and get it done.

i believe I have a b12 deficiency as most my symptoms point to that.. not sure about my lymph nodes tho  

i will update as soon as my results are in.

Hi, just wondering how did you get on? I have similar symptoms as you, with itchy scalp, hard lump on neck lymph node etc.

I have the exact same symptoms would be interested to know what the outcome is. I'm not in the drs for another 3 weeks 

I have my hospital appointment tomorrow for camera up nose, then ultrasound and biopsy etc if needed, will reply with how it goes, I'll get results tomorrow too so only a day to wait now. I'm so scared but also desperate to know what it is

Thank you, will post asap after results! I would ask for a same day appointment if you're concerned rather than wait 3 weeks which is what I did to get a same day appointment, and glad as they took it seriously. Good luck! x

Hi, all went well I got the all clear! The consultant said lumps at the back of the neck are rarely anything bad, he did a camera up the nose (it was horrible and I nearly passed out!), He said he thought I look like I don't drink enough water hence the sore throat (true I don't drink anywhere near enough!), he said they'd ultrasound it for reassurance but thought it was ok. Had the scan about an hour later, sonographer said it looks absolutely fine, it was round, not big, and blood flow normal. She scanned all my throat and neck and said everything was fine. I'm beyond relief, it's been a very stressful few weeks!
