I have been suffering with hip pain - soreness and stiffness - that goes down the front of my thighs for about a month now. Had x-ray which showed arithitis in right and left hip and lower back (right hip I knew about). Wish I had not suggested arthritis flare as GP just seemed to go with that and told me it would get better and offered stronger pain killersLast week, I requested a blood test - GP said, oh yes, that is probably a good idea as it might be cancer, I don’t think it is but it might be! Results came back showing 2 high inflammory markers so have 2 week urgent referral. My husband does not understand why I am so worried but I really am! Pain is just awful in the morning and I feel so useless.
