Hi everyone , I’m 34 years old , 5 years ago I had a ca125 blood test as I was having missed periods and bloating and it was raised to 45 nothing else was done about it so I just forgot all about it so I just kept carrying on with my symptoms , but these last few months I didn’t have a period at all and my stomach was getting bigger and I was breathless , my doctor sent me for a scan and my ovarys wasn’t seen because of to much gas , so I asked my doctor for a ca125 test my results have come back raised again at 40, now my doctor as sent me for an urgent appointment to see a gynaecologist tomorrow , i am really scared ! What I don’t understand is if it’s been raised all this time for 5 years could I have had cancer all this time ????
