A scan showed I have bleeding cysts on my left ovary & a blood test led to an urgent referral to gynae. I was originally told this meant I would get an appointment within 2 weeks of my doctors referral. A week has gone by (A very long week) & I still haven't heard. I went to my surgery this morning & the receptionist seemed very irritated by me & told me it meant I would hear something within 2 weeks of referral, not be seen. I'm confused & stressed. Don't people understand this anxious wait?
