Like you am awake worrying despite seeing a breast clinic dr at an outreach clinic quickly. 

All I can say is I have been seen quickly , possibly because it’s summer holidays, and will have mammogram and scan next week. 

I have a friend whom has lumps a lot, and says try not to worry until they get a diagnosis as usually all is well. 

I found the breast specialist gentler with her examination than my GP and she seemed very caring . 

I think it’s ok to be a bit scared and will read a bit on lumps etc . 

Thinking and hoping you aren’t getting too worried but let me know via this . 

I too am waiting to go to clinic week on Thursday, I have a lump in left breast had it a few months!  I am worried just putting on a brave face.

Thank you flowergirl1234, it’s draining just worrying isn’t it? But I’m feeling better this morning as I read that majority of breast clinic referrals aren’t cancer. I couldn’t feel any lumps only the pain and breast looking different when I lift arm, GP did exam and said he felt a nodule but I have to say he and the nurse that was present were very nice. 

Will update you on Friday after my appointment and thank you for reply.

Good to hear from you, I feel a bit worse today as family very worried. 

Do keep me in your thoughts, will try to distract myself a bit and hopefully time will pass quickly for us.

Hi walket, it’s only natural we worry but I think it’s great to be able to chat on here and express those worries as bottling up would drive you insane. 

Like I read the majority of referrals turn out to be non cancerous. I’m keeping that in mind when I start to over think.

I have appt this Friday too for lump in right breast.  Really worrying too.  Hard to not keep googling and focus on something else.  I am Hampshire based, Wishing you all  clear results.  I am a mum to 4, and worrying most about my children
