Hello,

Looking for advicse regarding breast tissue thickening, I recently noticed a solid area in my right breast under the nipple area. I was referred to the breast clinic by my GP and saw a prinvate consultant yesterday. He was very passive and after doing an inital assessment he agreed that he could not feel a lump but breast thickening, and has referred me to have a ultra sound tomorrow. 

Has anybody had breast thickening which turns out to be cancer? The last 10 days have been horrednous as I consider every possible outcome to my referral, going from feeling positive to panicing - I am a anxious person too.
