Hi All, Feeling Concerned by delays

Hi to all. Huge post, sorry. I have never visited or posted here before, so, I appreciate any and all replies. I am having some very concerning symptoms and have a colonoscopy at the end of this month. I have felt increasingly unwell over past 2 years but very unwell in recent months. I will cut it to a short version though. Severe heavy irregular bleeding 2 years ago and had a scan, scan revealed very small fibroid. I was offered mirena coil, I opted against. Thebleeding continued to worsen along with watery pink discharge daily which eventually turned   to very bloody ( dark red/ black) discharge. GP examined internally, swabbed etc and a smear but I bled so heavy on examination GP sent me for another ultrasound. This revealed 2 x 7cm fibroids, abnormal thickening of womb lining and something else I cant quite remember. GP referred me to Gynaecologist in December 2018. I still have not been seen. Bleeding is beyond manageable and is pure blood bright red soaking 3x night time pads per half hour for around 3 days every 3-4 weeks with dark bloody discharge the days in between. I have now been passing blood via back passage and in my stool on a very regular basis, my tummy is very tender and inflamed as is my abdomen are all on the left side. I have developed a lot of pain intermittently during the day and quite bad at night. I have developed a large hard lump onmy left rib ( at the back) which is growing. GP says a lipoma. I have now developed one same on my left forearm. I have also developed a large, hard lump in my right breast, has been mammogrammed and core biopsy result was probably benign. Breast clinic are seeing me again in October for follow up. I have a colonoscopy end of August. I have not yet had appointment from Gynae. I have a constant cold sweat for months which is getting very, very noticable, no appetite, unintentional weightloss, fatigue. The only other condition I have is a severely damaged spine which causes a lot of pain in my back hip and leg for which I take pain killers, but, I eat healthy ( when I do eat) I walk my dogsdaily, I have a happy life etc but I really am starting to feel oorly and I am having a real bad feeling the original ultrasound 2 years ago was not actually a fibroid but a beginning of a tumour...... and it has spread. Any advice would be so so appreciated right now. I am47 and not in menopause as of yet. I am not the type of person to get over anxious but I am getting increasingly worried because I feel genuinely very unwell.Thank you so kindly in ad vance. X

  • Hi moochops, saw your other string first I'm afraid there's not much a "man "can say apart from someone wants a boot up the rear to get things moving, you know how you feel they don't, hope something gets sorted soon.,, hopefully some lady's will be on soon to talk to you but at this time they'll be putting on the war paint now thave had there beauty sleep, best wishes.... Billy

  • hi Billygoat, thank you so much for replying regardless of male or female, i sincerely appreciate. Yes somebody certainly does need a boot in the rear but esiier said than done. I havs however changed GP a couple of months ago who has been really good, he has made the referral for colonoscopy as urgent but unfortunately a 2 week wait for suspected cancer tests does not apply in Wales. Why, i do not know or understand, but, thats a separate post i think!!!‍♀️ The new GP is seeing me 4 weekly for checks etc until I get some answers, but I feel really quite unwell to be honest and spend most days too tired to function. Anyway, I am waffling I think, so, huge thanks again and nice to meet you even if its not a “ club” anyone really wants to join, im just glad im not on my own with it all. Take care. Karen

  • Don't worry there's one on here her names [@marj58]‍, she doesn't write a letter she writes a book,, i like Stirling her up, so write as much as you want don't worry, good luck with whatever wrong hope you get sorted soon best wishes... Billy

  • haha, this is super good to know, thank you so very much! I have been bottling all these concerns up for what feels like forever and am relieved to be able to get it out to others who have or are going through similar. I am trying to stay optimistic regarding causes of my symptoms and health decline but it is getting more difficult to distract myself from these horrible symptoms. Part of me be relieved for a diagnosis the other part is completely in denial anything is wrong at all. Anyway, Billy, thank you ever so much once again and I hope you have a lovely weekend. Regards, Karen
