i had the exact same thing, GP said lipoma but was sent back to breast clinic for an ultrasound  - was a lipoma. Your GP probably changed her diagnosis due to not feeling anything unusual in your breasts - this is a good sign.

Does anybody else have any ideas what this could be?

How did yours feel ? I'm worried sick about this :(

I still have the lump, its the size of a gooseberry. It’s completely movable, doctor says she loves movable lumps as it’s a good sign. It’s soft, I can put it between my fingers and squeeze it. It’s smooth in texture. My doctor could tell straight away that it was a lipoma rather than a lymph node but sent for ultrasound just to make 100% sure. I guess your doctors doing the same.

try not to worry too much, it’s the not knowing that’s the worse, thankfully your scan is in a couple of days time so it will be over soon. x

Hi l got this about 2 years ago it is right  side clavical middle of throat . I went to dr he said its nothing to worry about . I was asleep about 3 weeks ago and woke up coughing l felt as if l was choking ,l  had a drink of water it felt ok but over past 2 weeks l have found that when l lay down with a pillow l start to cough this lump has got very large and is touching my wind pipe ! It is the collar bone mid throat l am frightened to go back to dr
