Was due to have pathology results tomorrow after lumpectomy on 26th July. Just had phone call saying cancelled until next Thursday!! Is there any significance in delay - she said the delay was because they were so busy???
I had a core biopsy on 25 July and I was expecting my results today and was told I will not get my results now until next week as the pathologist has not run all the tests. I did ask if the nurse if that was a bad sign and she said no not necessarily.
There may be no significance in the delay, but it is natural to overthink, when worried. They could be busy, this is holiday time when the majority of people take leave, so this my cause a delay
