Hi Jess, I’ve had a few ultrasound with biopsy which proved positive for lymphoma. These doctors who do the ultrasound can usually tell if it’s not cancer and therefore that’s why they don’t proceed to the biopsy. On saying that the first time they did the biopsy they told me not to worry as it’s probably a thyroid problem, which it wasn’t. It looked pretty solid on the screen. The only way to detect cancer is with the biopsy. This tells them what kind of cancer it is. You are young which is good. The sweats I had were drenching sweats in that I had to change the bed. If I were you and it’s still there in a few weeks I’d go back to your doctor as it’s causing you anxiety. I hope this helps you a little bit, take care.
