Bone marrow biopsy - myeloma...

Hi all, I think I need to just get this off my chest in a friendly forum. In May I was found to have a paraprotein in my blood and referred to a haemotologist. For various reasons, I put off any testing until a second appointment with the consultant which took place last week. He ordered a bone marrow biopsy and full body MRI. We made a follow-up appointment for 4 weeks later. Despite ordering the tests, the consultant seemed fairly positive that it was just MGUS and nothing too worrying for now - so I thought a 4 week follow-up was fine. Fast-forward, bone marrow biopsy and MRI done and I had a phone call from the consultant's secretary on Friday afternoon asking me to come in on Wednesday... much earlier than the scheduled 4 week appointment. The secretary didn't give me any further information. So - I am a touch worried. I am hoping that all is ok and the consultant just wanted to give me good news faster; but the little worrywart in me is thinking why would a busy consultant clear time to do this? So - there we go. Just a bit scared right now...
