third mammogram..first recall

Hi..I'm 48 and having had my 3rd mammogram screening have had a recall letter..Have to wait till Friday 16th to be seen at the hospital and my nerves are absolutely shattered! I'm so anxious and scared. I really was expecting a clear result as I've had before. I have absolutely no symptoms of anything being wrong and I feel very well within myself. How to cope with the long wait to see the cosultant and get tests done is agony!

Hi Kazza,
I'm sorry about the worries your recall appointment is causing. No doubt your mind will be thinking all sorts at the moment, but try not to think the worst if you can as recalls are quite common as many of our members here have found out and hopefully you'll hear about their experiences soon.
In the meantime I hope this article will help you whilst you wait.

Thank you ..trying to stay positive and keep my mind focused that I have no symptoms is reasurring too,,,thank u for your kind leaflet and I will update after 16th xx
