I understand this must be frustrating - the waiting and uncertainty is never easy. All I can say is of course the hospitals are very busy and often with a long waiting list of patients to see, not that this makes things any easier for you.

I would encourage you to check in with the hospital until you get confirmation of the appointment as you've been waiting a long time already. You may get seen a bit sooner if you keep trying.

I hope you're able to get an appointment soon and in the meantime just try to keep yourself busy and not thinking too much about the appointment - often easier said than done I know.
