Hi all

Hope someone can shed some light on my post to give me a bit of reassurance. I'm 42 with 4 children aged from 23 to 12. After my last child I had CIN3 and I underwent laser treatment to remove it. Delighted They caught it in time was an understatement as I had 4 small kids and the baby was only a few weeks old. I had to stay on the coil and contraception pill as I was bleeding so heavily for 12 months after the last child but thankfully all calmed down. Then 3 years ago I had 13cm cyst on my right ovary so it was removed. After the op I got sicker and my gynae examined me by trying to drain to see if I had infection and by doing so he hit my bowel which caused further complications. A week later I ended up getting my tubes and left ovary removed as I bleed out into my stomach with another 14cm cyst on left ovary. They left my womb behind why I don't don't as it wasnt any advantage to me with the state I was left in. From when I had CIN3 I had yearly smears and all was normal . I've had all clear smears so I didn't have to go only every 3 years. Last week I went for my routine smear for the nurse yo tell me I had an abnormal result 3 years ago but nobody informed me. I am having horrendous back and pelvic pain for about 3 months now and I was prescribed pain relief for acute lower back pain. I'm just worried that the abnormal smear I didn't know about has something sinister in it now. So sorry about the long post ...had a smear 1 week ago and will have the result in a month or so.
