Hi JH I had total hysterectomy November last year and got my biopsy results just over 2 weeks later Hope you are getting on ok after op expect you have had a few ouch moments !! lol I did Fingers crossed for you that your results come back clear 

Hello Karina, thank you for your response, it is very much appreciated. It will be three weeks tomorrow since the Operation so hopefully I'll get to find out soon. I am quite a laid back person however I have been waiting for several months for the operation and this has been hanging over me for quite sometime now. Yes I have experienced some ouch moments  but seem to be making a little progress every day. How are you feeling 8 months post op ? Best Regards.

Hi JH I expect you just want to put it all behind you and get on with life! I am now getting back to normality I still have a few twinges of pain occasionally I think it takes a long time for everything to settle down I am now trying to get the weight off that I gained (wish now I hadn’t eaten so much comfort food whilst recovering ! Lol) but it has amazed me how quickly the scar has healed Unfortunately my biopsy came back stage 1 clear cell ovarian cancer so I had to have course of chemo as a preventative measure so lost my hair too so have had a fair bit to deal with I am just grateful that it was diagnosed at early stage & treated Hope you don’t have to wait much longer for results as said previously keeping fingers crossed for you 

Hi Karina, I was so sorry to learn that you had stage 1 clear cell ovarian cancer, thankfully it was caught at an early stage and treated . As if you hadn't got enough to contend with having had the Hysterectomy. Gosh you really have had a hard time recently havnt you.  I hope you continue to improve and feel well. Thank you Karina for the advice re pelvic floor exercises. I must get into a routine of doing these every day and tomorrow I am going to try and walk half a mile although I feel I should be walking more at 3 weeks post op. Take care Karina .

Good morning Karina, I just wanted to let you know that I have finally received my results (4 weeks after the Hysterectomy )The tumours were confirmed as benign fibroids . There was no evidence of cancerous cells . I am so relieved and feel very lucky and blessed. Thank you very much for your support over the last couple of weeks.Jh xx
