Hi I’ve just been to the gyneacologist and he’s referred me for a hysteroscopy and biopsy apparently within the next two weeks

i had an internal scan on the 22nd and apparently my lining was 3.7mm (during a period) and this is why he sent me

is this abnormal?

im 37 a mum of

four suffer horrible periods always have done

are they seeing something abnormal at this thickness?

Sorry to hear that you're still dealing with these health problems. I can understand that it's a concerning time.
I'm afraid that I don't know what is considered to be a normal, or abnormal, thickness of the lining. If your consultant has referred you for further tests then maybe it is worth getting in touch with your GP or the consultant's secretary. Hopefully they will be able to give you information about why you're being sent for these further tests.
