Well I never thought it had been me on a site like this my mum had bowel cancer 2 years ago which spread to the Liver it was also wrapped around her pelvis she had two major operations and chemo and a hysterectomy has been clear now she's on aspirin as a trial and have to go back every 6 months she found a lump in her breast a week ago which was really so she also had a mammogram 7 weeks ago so she wasn't worried we went to the clinic on Tuesday and was told everything was fine my mum was telling me to check mine so I did and I found a lump on the Tuesday went to the doctors on Wednesday and she check my boobs went back to a desk said nothing so I went out and said so is it just a cyst and she said no it's not a cyst I'm going to refer you to the hospital I've had something like this 2 years ago when I was breastfeeding my daughter and it turned out to be a cyst one of the hard filled ones not the fluid-filled ones I've only 6 days left on my pill and I restarted it again last month so I think I'm around the time that I should be on my period when I felt my boobs last night the lump is still there but I also had hard tissue which was painful to touch I'm just hoping that this is all to do with my menstrual cycle and not The Big C has anyone had any experience with this my lump is small it feels round and hard and it's on my right breast just just about 4 cm from my nipple underneath I have a 2 year old daughter and I'm divorced from my husband just last month I keep thinking is if I do have cancer things will never be the same again I will always be thinking is it going to come back that's if it can be treated and I don't want my daughter left on her own I've still not received my appointment yet I was referred on Wednesday was told to ring 48 hours later when I did call they said I was still on the triage list also I forgot to mention my auntie has just had a lump removed from a breast a week ago if it wasn't for my mum and her sister I just think it was a cyst but because of the background I'm panicking
