Hi .

I have recently been in hospital for suspected apendicitus . after having a CT scan my doctor told me i have a large Hetrogenous mass in the mesentery and i need a biopsy . i had cervial cancer and a histrectomy 3 years ago so im so worried and confused now can anyone tell me if this sounds bad ? i

    Welcome to the forum and I'm sorry to hear that you've been unwell recently. It's understandable that you're feeling worried after being given the news that you need more tests. 

    A heterogeneous mass is tissue in the body that's more dense or solid than usual. They are often benign (non cancerous) but may need further investigations to be sure.
