How you're feeling is understandable for both the reasons you mentioned. Prior to your appointment, the best thing is to try to keep you mind off it - keep yourself distracted and busy so as not to dwell on it too much.

The two-week referral doesn't necessarily mean anything as such - it's just important for your doctor and of course yourself to have the relevant tests and to find out more.

I had a colonoscopy last year it found ovarian cysts which were removed in October all fine , recovery took a while due to extensive adhesions l hope your ok and you have a similar outcome
