I have three abnormally big ones and I haven't gotten a biopsy yet, but now im waiting for the biopsy and then I'll be waiting for the results. It drives me a bit crazy how I've been in and out of the doctor for a month now but the waiting game seems to be the longest part. I hope everything will work out for you.

For me it is breast cancer but from what they have said there are some positives in the diagnosis so hopefully I will be able to fight it ! Fingers crossed for your results xxx

Yes the waiting is awful, it is so much worse than the actual knowing! I'm in a bit of a daze now trying to take it all in! Hence why I'm sat at my kitchen table at half 3 reading the stuff theyce given me!! I hope they get cracking and get you that biopsy so you can know for sure! Fingers crossed x

I’m so sorry to hear that. Thought about you all afternoon. If they are seeing positives then I’m sure you’ll be on the road to recovery in no time. People seem to say once they’ve got a plan of action in place they settle down a bit. Nothing anyone will say will make you feel better, you’ve probably got to get your head around it in your own way. Sounds like you’ve got a a supportive network around you. What’s the next step for you? 

Im just about cracking with the waiting and can’t believe I’ve got 6 days to go. Managing to isolate myself off nicely! 

Keeks.... hopefully once they do the biopsy you’ll not have too long a wait. Best to keep busy and stay off google. Advice I’ve not really taken myself but once you start you can’t stop.

Next step is go and have a chat about surgery options - I'm struggling a litte with the decision of a lumpectomy v mastectomy. I really dont know what to do! But have to decide on monday. How are you guys feeling? Managing the wait ok? Silly question really I should know the answer! I seriously hope you get to breath a sigh of relief and it was just a scare when you get your results x

Sounds tricky .. is that as it’s a large lumpectomy or you want to consider getting rid of more .. everyone gets different options due to the case as well as their shape / the location of the cancer .. I was offered a reduction as on every option .. but a friend pointedness out I will probably want closure and that would be a long process wirh rhe second breast op next year .. my options may change when more results come through anyway .. good luck with your decision .. have they offered to build you up / do a repair ?

Ive been offered reconstruction to make my natural boob look as normal as poss wiht a lumpectomy and also reconstruction if i have a mastectomy. and as i can tell from them, the risks remain the same whichever surgery i choose, it comes down to a psychological choice. my main hang up is, i perhaps dont medically need the mastectomy but how would i feel if it came back and i could have had my boob off. im struggling with this decision really. have you been through this once already, with you saying second breast op? whats your experience xx
