  • Hi Kyia,

Welcome to the forum and I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with a health concern at the moment.

We have quite a few members here who have experience of throat cancer. You can find lots of different threads by using the forum search function in the blue bar at the top of the page.

One member who is currently also waiting for a specialist appointment is [@Natalieh1]‍ and as I've tagged her into your post hopefully she'll reply.

If you'd like to talk to one of our nurses about your concerns ahead of your appointment then do give them a call. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

    Best wishes,

  • Hi I'm in the same situation just waiting to be seen next Friday by the cancer centre . I've been suffering 6 months from a sore throat , constant swollen gland on right side , ear pain , feel like im choking sometimes on food and drink, and clearing my throat all the time. I'm so scared of the outcome I also have 2 children aged 6 and 7 boys . The not knowing I think is the worst part for me x
