Biopsy results

hi 

 I have a smear test done on the 9th of April  On the 18th of may  I got my results I have HPV positive  High-grade moderate dyskaryosis  A week later after getting my results I went for a colposcopy.  At the appointment she told me I had to have a biopsy done  i’ve been waiting five weeks for my results so I rang the hospital she told me they have my results and I need treatment and that I will receive a letter it’s now been over six weeks and I’ve still not had my results back I have left messages at the hospital asking to tell me over the phone my results and no one has got back to me. 

 Just wondering if anyone else been  in the same situation

    Welcome to the forum although I'm sorry to hear that you've had a health concern which has needed further treatment. 

    It can be a really frustating time waiting for results and appointment s and it sounds as if it's been even more so for you because you've rung but no one has got back to you. 

    Have you spoken to your GP surgery to see if your Dr is able to find out what is happening? It may be worth giving them a call and asking if they can make an enquiry on your behalf as you've not had a response from anyone. 

    Alternatively you could contact the hospital PALS officer to see if they are able to give you some guidance about who to contact for more information.

    Hi  thanks for Your reply 

    I have rang the doctors and they have told me I have to contact the hospital which I have done twice and it just keeps going to voicemail so I’ve left two messages and still no one has  got back to me and I haven’t received any letters from the hospital  they have had my results for 10 days now. so I’m  confuse why I haven’t received anything  and what sort of treatment i need
